Christmas at the Biernat's

All of my memories of past Christmas's take place in my parents' living room.
Even though they've lived in different houses in Montreal, the memories are the same. It may come across as cliche, but you could always feel the love of being together and giving thoughtful gifts.
These days, there are times when I'm not actually visiting my parents at Christmas. They usually have their grandchildren there, as in the photo. Here in Vancouver, my husband David and I recreate the same feeling in our living room, as we think of our families back home.
