For my artwork I chose to use acrylic paint on watercolour paper. I liked how I could use many colours and the way it looked with the brushes I used. I chose to do an abstract painting, yet it speaks to my experience with Alzheimer’s disease. I used size and colours to show movement. I hope other people enjoy my picture and that it speaks to them. In doing my picture I was able to try a new activity that I really enjoyed and want to do more of. I appreciate the Alzheimer Society staff and Liina the art therapist for arranging and providing support for the art project.
